Julio Fernando Navas

Tomatometer-approved critic
Biography:

My name Is Julio Fernando Navas. I'm a 24 year old from Guayaquil, Ecuador, currently in my eight semester of Film-making on art school. After finding out that I wanted to be a film director on my senior year of high school, and discovering how many little ecuadorian sites there were about movies on the Internet, I decided in 2012 to give it a go and register my site, Cinema Ecuador, as a Wordpress.com blog. One year later I moved the site to a dedicated server and that's when all began. Ever since, I've written over 150 film reviews and covered the premiere of some of the most important Ecuadorian movies to date. I wish to become the first Ecuadorian film critic to be featured on Rotten Tomatoes.
