Happyend (2024) Alonso Duralde [W]hat's most important about it … is this insistence that not only can we push back against authoritarianism, but we must push back against authoritarianism. And it provides that message in a sprightly, smart, sharp way.

The President's Wife (2023) Alonso Duralde Does she make compromises along the way that sell out her convictions and even members of her family? Yes. But does being on TV all the time mean that Karl Lagerfeld shows up so that she won't be wearing last year's Chanel? Also yes.

Justin Bieber: Our World (2021) Rosa Parra Although I'm not the biggest Beiber fan, I was intrigued by the behind-the-scenes of bringing this concert to life. Having to abide by the Covid protocols and the work it takes to construct a unique concert was eye-opening. Fans will love it.

South of Heaven (2021) Rosa Parra A one-dimensional look of the protagonists with no substance. I began watching and was waiting for it to end.

No Time to Die (2021) Rosa Parra A decent farewell to Craig's Bond. It is a bit too lengthy. I wish there was more Ana de Armas, she was a standout.

Mass (2021) Rosa Parra A look at the humanity behind these unfortunate events. With a strong script, stellar direction, and anchored by four masterful performances this film will destroy you. A powerful film.
