Jurassic Park (1993) Judy Magid The Barney-the-Dinosaur-and-Baby-Bop bunch will be scared. Iguana owners may view their pets with a jaundiced eye. The THX Sound System is LOUD. Those reservations aside, Jurassic Park is a great movie.

Apollo 13 (1995) Sean P. Means Apollo 13 earns the ultimate compliment for a true-life film: it maintains its suspense even though the conclusion is well known. In the movies, at least, Apollo 13 is a success from lift-off to splashdown.
