E.B. White's beloved children's tale is brought to life in this animated film, which finds the young farm pig Wilbur attempting to avoid a dire fate. Of all the barnyard creatures, Wilbur's staunchest ally is Charlotte, a thoughtful spider who devises an intriguing plan to keep the gentle little swine out of the slaughterhouse. Although Charlotte's efforts, which involve words written in her delicate web, seem far-fetched, they may just work.

I was 8 years old when I saw this in a movie theater in 1973. It made an impression on me then, and the song "Mother Earth and Father Time" is for the ages. The Sherman brothers were amazing. Besides doing the music for this movie, they also did the music for Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and many, many others. Paul Lynde is priceless as comic relief character Templeton.

THIS MOVIE IS HOT GARBAGE! I know it does refer as a classic to some people.but I never found it enjoyable at all for some reason! But ay, they got the KFC guy in this movie so gotta give them props for that, but other than that, this was just a huge waste of time movie for me! And its SO SO SO BORING!

Excellent children's classic about a secret barnyard society of talking animals; where a maternal spider tries to save a young pig set for the slaughter ...Very moving and entertaining. Hannah Barbera doesn't quite live up to Disney standards, but, you know what? With a story this powerful it almost doesn't matter...And they actually do just fine with this...it's lovely to look it...and the acting by legends like Debbie Reynolds, Danny Bonoduce and Paul Lynde is priceless; and the music by the ever-reliable Sherman Brothers is also delightful. It's a minor classic in it's own rite! Only drawback: too many musical numbers to pad the rubbing time. If you can forgive that you'll enjoy this.

Charlotte’s Web beautifully captures themes of friendship and sacrifice. Following Wilbur the pig and his wise friend Charlotte, the film conveys a heartfelt story that resonates with all ages. The charming animation and memorable voice performances enhance its warmth. However, the pacing can be slow, which might disengage some viewers. The songs are also very forgettable. Overall, it’s a touching family film that deserves a 7/10.
