Robert P @Superbad 4 days ago This movie has been done better so I give it a .5 stars! See more Ross L @RT89810180 Aug 21, 2026 The score is grand, the nuclear missiles are cool, the menacingly swooping & swishing space rock rocks : I legitimately like this dopey disaster. Also, I’m a giant sucker for that mixed couples missile Detente climax! Any amateur could have acted any part better, and the story is not even high school quality. How it got made and distributed is beyond me. It makes cult bad look like Academy Award winners. To be succinct, a real stinker. See more Blake- N @PBSAniDom May 10, 2026 Meteor is a deeply disappointing disaster film that fails to deliver on its premise. What could have been a tense, large-scale spectacle instead comes across as flat and poorly executed, with very little of the excitement the genre demands. The production feels uneven throughout, with weak dialogue, inconsistent performances, and effects that don’t hold up well. Any sense of seriousness or "classiness" the film aims for quickly gets lost in its clumsy execution and lack of momentum. Overall, it’s a frustrating watch that never finds its footing or sense of scale. As a disaster film, it simply doesn’t work on any meaningful level. I rate it a 0/10. Lower tier 70's disaster movie.
