While initially receiving mixed critical reviews, the film has found a lasting legacy as a cult favorite. I'm also one of those few who ended up rewatching this movie again and again for the comfort and humor it brings and a feel good movie. 5 stars! This is Harold Ramis at his worst, digging up the "deal with the devil" trope and putting that filthy beast in a costume worn by Elizabeth Hurley. Just watching this drivel might set women back 20 more years. You might catch glimpses of Brendan Fraser tapping into his "pitiful" mask that made him an Oscar winner. Who knows? This might have been what casting directors saw of Fraser before they made him "The Whale." Bedazzled

The Devil (ELIZABETH HURLEY) entices Elliot (BRENDAN FRASER) into a pact in which he gives up his soul in exchange for seven wishes. Elliot (BRENDAN FRASER) reluctantly strikes a deal with the Devil (ELIZABETH HURLEY). The Devil (ELIZABETH HURLEY) cheers on Elliot (BRENDAN FRASER), after she has turned him into a basketball behemoth. Alison (FRANCES O'CONNOR, left) is wooed by Elliot (BRENDAN FRASER) through each of his wishes. FRANCES O'CONNOR plays Alison, who becomes an integral part of a co-worker's pact with the Devil. BRENDAN FRASER and director HAROLD RAMIS confer on the set of BEDAZZLED.
