Critics Consensus

While less offensive and more charming than recent gross-humored comedies, The Animal is still rather mediocre.

Charles S @RT56165336 Aug 9, 2026 The only way that woman would sleep with Rob Schneider is if she actually was part animal and completely intoxicated. See more Briana I. @Anaire May 30, 2026 This was a typical Rob Schneider film. He can't act and he's just goofy which seldomly works...this didn't work. It was very intolerably bad and not funny at all. The worst was the lead females acting she did a horrible job acting and I can see why I never seen her since. Definitely can't recommend unless your a mindless pot head. See more Steven F. @SteveGotScored Mar 23, 2026 Such a funny animal movie! See more MariofanAlex445 T @RT47678067 Feb 7, 2025 Goofball comedy with some weird beastiality jokes. Honestly, comedy is subjective and all but I thought it was fun. 2.5/5 stars.
