An uncommonly good cast and some thrillingly staged action sequences distinguish this thriller, which otherwise has all the stamps of a direct-to-video item. Go to Full Review

The relatively taut and suspenseful opening half hour, however, is eventually replaced by a far more conventional and unevenly-paced sort of vibe, with the end result a film that's sporadically intriguing but ultimately forgettable. Go to Full Review

It all plays out like a wanna-be episode of 24 or a screenplay that was deemed "just a little too good" for Seagal or Van Damme to anchor the thing. Go to Full Review

Richard B @Komard Jan 9 End Game is a solid political thriller with a strong central mystery and a well-constructed narrative. The story is engaging, the stakes are clear, and the film does a good job balancing investigation with political tension. Cuba Gooding Jr. delivers a focused performance, and the supporting cast helps ground the story in a believable world. Where the film falters slightly is in its conclusion. The revelation that the president’s wife was responsible for ordering the murder is compelling, but the inability to bring her to justice due to a lack of tangible proof feels unsatisfying. While realistic, the ending denies the audience a sense of closure that the buildup seemed to promise. That said, the pacing is appropriate, the story holds together, and the film remains engaging throughout. Despite its imperfect ending, End Game is a well-told thriller that largely succeeds on its strengths. See more Ray C Dec 14 A cheap 24 knock-off. As someone who loves 24, I found Endgame entirely watchable. Cuba Gooding Jr. isn’t a very compelling action-movie lead, and the surprisingly talented supporting cast doesn’t get much to do either—except for the late Peter Greene, who delivers a solid villain performance. Still, there are enough twists and turns, along with some exciting action, to keep it afloat. See more Steve B 09/05/2024 All the actors are living in their pasts. Pasts that they had as careers in the acting business. All are what I consider over the hill and the story is one we've all seen 100 times. You just kinda get lost with all the interactions and plot twists and I was terribly disappointed. Cuba Gooding hasn't had a good role since "Jerry McGuire" and Woods since "Against all odds". Skip this one. See more Justin W @Loonsan 05/24/2022 Long-winding, end up lost in the woods. Nothing really stick here See more jon s @writersghost 09/07/2021 Spoiler Alert - Decent plot, but the writing was not great. There is a great cast but the script lowers them to B actors. There is no real justice at the end of the movie. I found it a waste of two hours. See more 09/24/2020 I was so disappointed with the ending.. I kinda didn't quite get it.....like some of the (neg) reviews about this movie was spot on.. great cast lots of holes in the plot, not so great ending.. but I love Angie Harmon, James and Cuba.. (plus a few others whose names have slipped my mind).. that's the reason why I was able to watch it to the end..... albeit a disappointing one but oh well....not sure if I would recommend.
