nun y 09/06/2024 To be completely honest i started looking for a new movie to watch 40 minutes after i realised it was going to be another scream'n run teen film where the producers are too scared to put anything too crazy in the movie unlike Kids or Thirteen it was literally a problem with different groups of people swear and shout a bit the carry on shouting and running constant swearing ''sex this ''she likes you'' ''i wanna hook up with her '' that ,run, swear a little more because ''were so cool'' (obviously nothing happens) basically its 70% mouth 30% action . so if you like action do not watch this See more 007 and 3/4s 08/28/2024 Are these reviews on here really real or paid for by the director himself? This movie made absolutely no sense from beginning to end. It’s movies like this that all these streaming services spend money on thinking they are good enough to make a profit then when it doesn’t you wonder why they keep raising the monthly subscription so often. See more Jarrin R 07/17/2023 This movie reminded me of my childhood and running around town with my furends. It is crazy to see the things kids do and don't talk about with their best friends. I feel like this movie did a great job of that. The story feels real and compelling. The actors did a fantastic job. I love the look of the film it makes it feel very down to earth and real. This is added to my favorite list, instant classic. See more Kevin A @kevrez 11/06/2022 Great movie! Wasn't sure I would like it. But it ended up being a deep coming of age movie, and fun. The main character is forced to become a man too soon in life. Most of us face some great challenge in life that forces us to grow up and often because we have to take care of others- sometimes too early and sometimes late in life. Reflect on that when you watch the movie, the journey and who was there for you along the way. Enjoy! See more 11/05/2022 Similar to his prior film, “Low Low”, 1-800-Hot-Nite has that gritty feel as it’s set in yet another rough neighborhood. The cast is excellent all around - their performances were effortless and natural, bringing me back to my teen years when living in the present moment and experiencing emotional roller-coasters were a daily occurrence. Ali Richey is also a hidden gem, giving great depth to a character who shares not nearly the same amount of screentime as her young friend (Dallas Young), which shines light on Richey’s fantastic writing as well. 1-800-Hot-Nite is an experience. Nick Richey really has outdone himself with this one. Big futures for the team behind this.
