Al T @Altor16 1d Those giving 2073 a bad review maybe should stick to Blade Runner or other dystopian, but works of fiction. If you don't want to believe your own eyes at the real life scenes of authoritarianism as depicted in this movie and as seen in every day news, then thats on you. Stick to fiction, so it'll make you feel better. Those of us who don't have our heads in the sand, can see this for what it is; the present and future if we're not careful. See the connections between the not so distant past, the politics of today, and the future path we're heading down. This takes real life events and horrors with actual video footage and ties together climate change, dictatorship, mass surveillance, and tech bro oligarchs. This isn't woke media but truth. It spends its runtime furiously connecting every dot from Brexit, Trump rallies, and "far-right" memes straight to Mad Max: Fury Road, while conveniently forgetting the left’s starring role in inflating crises, censoring debate, and pushing policies that eroded trust faster than you can say "mostly peaceful protests."
