Amy (Mila Kunis) has a great husband, overachieving children, beautiful home and successful career. Unfortunately, she's also overworked, exhausted and ready to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other stressed-out mothers (Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn) to get away from daily life and conventional responsibilities. As the gals go wild with their newfound freedom, they set themselves up for the ultimate showdown with PTA queen bee Gwendolyn and her clique of seemingly perfect moms.

Critics Consensus

Bad Moms boasts a terrific cast and a welcome twist on domestic comedy -- and they're often enough to compensate for the movie's unfortunate inability to take full advantage of its assets.

I wasn't expecting some sort of deep, philosophical dive into motherhood from this film. I was simply expecting to laugh maybe once.

A little more vinegar... and Bad Moms could have been a genuinely subversive comedy, rather than just a sweetly funny one.

If nothing else it represents 100 minutes in the company of several very funny comic actors. That hardly seems a terrible way to spend your time.

Although the plot may sound simple in its nature, it’s amazing how much self-described bad moms can do.

This was okay - of course having a baby with the first person you have ever been with is not going to work out. Kristen Bell was easily my favorite character in this movie - so well written. Otherwise, it was just ok for me.

Rating: 6.7/10 A fun, relatable comedy with great chemistry between Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn. Highlights - Relatable Premise: Explores pressure on modern mothers, resonating with audiences. - Great Chemistry: Lead trio delivers hilarious, heartfelt performances. - Energetic Humor: R-rated comedy lands more often than not, thanks to Hahn's delivery. Criticisms - Predictable Plot: Formulaic story with few surprises. - One-Dimensional Characters: Villains and male characters feel caricatured or underutilized. - Flat Visuals: Resembles a sitcom rather than a cinematic feature. Verdict A solid comedy elevated by its cast, particularly Kathryn Hahn. Fun, cathartic, and entertaining, but predictable and sometimes crude.

I guess this would appeal more to the niche market of mothers.
