Fiona S Dec 1 Oh dear! It's just too hard to suspend disbelief and go with these two prissy leads! The opening scene with Deborah Kerr desperately trying to be tough sets up the film for a soft landing. And Saint Gregory Peck just cannot make you believe he wrote passionate and heartbreaking love disasters! But the wardrobe has a magnificent love language.
