It seems painfully stupid to me. If you can ignore that then the action is entertaining and the effects are fine. It is not a major change from the first film but it is still a relatively fun way of passing time. The story was fine. Lots of action even if it is a bit repetitive and silly. There were a lot of parts of the story that diminished everything that happened in the first movie. This is a serious downgrade compared to the first one, but I still really enjoyed watching it.
