Iamwhoi M @Shaboutiques May 29 I think Luke Prael delivered a fine performance in this flick. I guess I'll have to watch it again, because there were some oddball scenes in it that seemed out of place (watched as a fall asleep movie, over 2 nights). I must've missed the point of them. Other than that, I liked the grisly story. I was thinking that kid (Prael) has the "it" factor. I'll have to watch some more of his movies to see if that's true. See more 04/22/2023 A fairly engaging movie from beginning to end. The performance and execution was all well done. The only thing that was slightly frustrating were the intermittent scenes with the SS officer, as there was nothing to clarify the relevance or what those scenes were supposed to mean in the context of the rest of the movie. I think it may be too deep for some to fully understand but I thought it was a fresh horror film. See more 01/21/2021 Exceptional acting, unique plot, sinister story, beautiful sets/ location and fascinating ending. This isn't "horror" in a traditional sense of ghosts and monsters. If anything it's worse, the horror that humans are capable of unimaginable evil. Keeping the viewer grounded in more of a realistic way than anything supernatural. It's easy to dismiss ghosts and monsters, but no one can ignore the atrocities of man. For me, that's more frightening than a vampire or ghost. If you're looking for a movie you don't need to think about or pay attention to, move along. Since it's really not like anything I've seen it's hard to tell where it's going, what's happening or what the outcome will be. Therefore people who just want to zone out and be startled here and there, it probably won't be entertaining. But if you are the type of person who enjoys a story you need to listen and pay attention to; a story you really need to think about, leaving you wondering and yearning to know more, this is for you.
