Panayiota K @Penny672 Sep 5, 2026 This would be more appealing if it wasnt filmed like an 80s horror movie and if the female protagonist was over 18 years old See more prawnda S @RT72497680 Aug 31, 2026 gallo appears to lack any kind of talent necessary for creating or participating in film, and him having the lead role as well as that of director is clearly the issue here. the movie has no hook, it's slow and pointless throughout and does not have the "arthouse" vibes that some reviews seem convinced it does. why would i want to watch a man running around poorly pretending that he cant find a bathroom? camera angles lazily placed at a height so we cant see that there's 10 other open stores next to the door he keeps trying to stare into when they could have just picked a store that was on a more empty road for that shot. the hour that everything is closed also makes zero sense, if they had shot at night maybe it would, but they just shot when they shot without any creative effort put in. i see no value here whatsoever and from what i've watched i can only assume this gets worse. rotten tomatoes: the word "c r o t c h" is not profanity. stop using ai. Vincent Gallo plays a walking emotional tire fire, Christina Ricci is absolutely wonderful, and the movie just wallows in its own glorious weirdness. It’s funny, sad, uncomfortable, tender, and occasionally makes you wonder if everyone involved needs a hug or a fucking exorcism. A strange, beautiful little bastard of a movie and completely unforgettable. Loved it. See more Ari S @RT76826585 Aug 9, 2026 Buffalo ’66 is a strange, bruised little masterpiece about lonely people stumbling into each other and, somehow, finding a reason to stay. The performances are extraordinary, raw, awkward, funny, and heartbreaking in equal measure. Beneath its offbeat humor and unsettling edges is a deeply human story about damaged people longing to be loved. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and unexpectedly tender, the kind of film that leaves a small ache behind long after it ends. See more John F @RT84127024 Jul 27, 2026 Drags a bit in spots but comes together well in the end, and Ricci & Gallo work together well here. See more maggie G @maggie66 Jul 18, 2026 -A film portraying how growing up with a lack of love detriments the way love is perceived and given later on. -Most of the time what we want to do is receive validation from the things/people that have hurt us the most, but the film says that habit doesn’t have to be forever.
