This movie doesn't let you sleep because it provokes a constant feeling of anxiety in you. That's the reason behind its quality. The three stories were amazing, but the first one is 10 out of 10 for me. The cat "actor" is so good and cute. The second story is completely inconsequential and feels like a subpar episode of "Tales from the Crypt." The cat, however, receives reinforcements from a territorial pigeon. And the third story is about the revenge of the garden gnomes, only by Stephen King rather than R. L. Stine. The fact that "Cat's Eye" is entertaining despite the largely weak storylines is entirely thanks to the cat. It is the star of the film, and I would love to see more anthology films of this kind! See more Apr 13 a very short anthology film but an original piece of work by Stephen King 40 years later all 3 stories center around a cat that goes from place to place witnessing one horrific event to the next the first story is about what happens to a smoker when he ignores quitting more than he should, the second story involves the consequences of adultery as well as greed, and the final story is the dangers of a small child's imagination Drew Barrymore at a young age actually makes quite a few appearances in all of them the last story in my opinion is the most imaginative cause it feels very Speilberg-ish with a monstrous troll plus there are a lot of nods to his previous works and it clearly shows a timekiller of a movie See more Read all reviews
