Sarmad A @RT46988264 3d I just watched (Citizen Vigilante) mainly because I liked Armie Hammer's performance in (The Man From U.N.C.L.E.). I was however very disappointed, The movie feels less like a movie and more like outrage bait. Instead of exploring a complex issue, it paints immigrants with a broad brush and leans heavily into fear and division. The directing prioritizes pushing a message over telling a believable story, and the performances suffer because of it. It comes across as propaganda rather than thoughtful filmmaking, leaving little room for nuance or genuine discussion. It’s just a long sightseeing video with nothing but driving and walking scenes. Apart from one or two moments where the culprits are punished, the entire film feels like hate propaganda, which fails to keep the attention of the viewers in the screen. There are many occasions where it feels why would Armie Hammer wasted in such a script. What was the director trying to accomplish? But has captivated how a lot of people feel. It highlights an extremely difficult issue that Europe is facing. And can perhaps serve as a cautionary tale, as to the road Europe is heading down, if the massive problems the continent and the union is facing, isnt handled. It speaks to a european people that has been silenced, that arent allowed to talk about the massive issues the european people is facing. There is nohing political about this movie, nor does it target muslims in an unfair way. It merely portrays a reality that Europe is facing. That much I appreciate, but the long drawn out scenes flashing back and forth, as well as the end were annoying.
