Richard B @Komard Jan 10 Deadlock has a solid core concept and a story that could have supported a stronger film, but the execution holds it back. Despite Bruce Willis delivering the most natural and grounded performance in the movie, the overall production feels unmistakably low-budget. Shaky camera work, uneven pacing, and awkward scene transitions disrupt the flow and undermine tension. The supporting performances are inconsistent, often marked by delayed reactions and dialogue that doesn’t feel organic. While the narrative itself is serviceable, the technical shortcomings, particularly in direction and editing, make the film feel more like a B-movie than something worthy of its lead actor’s résumé. Given Bruce Willis’s legacy and range of past roles, Deadlock is a disappointment. The story is there, but the execution never elevates it beyond its limitations. Still don't even know what the plot was even about, it was just so appalling. Again. The acting was rough and corny. They even added stock footage.. how embarrassing.. From the horrible plot line to the acting so bad it’s not even funny. The good guy kills all these people and doesn’t take their guns!? The NSA comes in to save the day!!!????? Then they use shitty stock footage of flooding and helicopters. Poor Bruce, his family should have never let him make this movie. If you want to get pissed off watch this movie! It did kind of keep my attention though. Just saying, plot is bad, acting is horrendous and the directing is bad too. Letting a movie like this fly into the world was a big mistake.
