Critics Consensus

Though it threatens to buckle under the weight of its meta gags, Deadpool 2 is a gory, gleeful lampoon of the superhero genre buoyed by Ryan Reynolds' undeniable charm.

Deadpool 2 is funny, often hilarious, features some great action, including a standout road sequence, and is more steadfast in the unbridled, frenzied tone crafted in the first film.

[A] huge, bombastic satire of superhero films, but never reaches the effortless hilarity of its predecessor. Sluggish plotting, overlong gags, and overstuffed characterisation mean this film tries to pack in too much at the cost of too little substance.

It is okay to be angry, but such an emotion must not be taken out on oneself or others via harmful actions. Such is the case with our current events, and we should ensure that we do not let our gifts go to waste and should go towards a good cause.
