Around halfway through, as the ambiguity of the early scenes is lost, and we get a clearer sense of what exactly is happening, Deep Water also becomes more predictable, and refuses to gather steam as a thriller.

Even if these types of thrillers are your guilty pleasure, no matter how bad or predictable they may be, forcing yourself through two hours of lifeless and uninspired writing and performances of this sort is simply not worth it.

De Armas is a frightfully bad actor, as her current bookings roll off she’ll be on her way to the dustbin of history and it can’t come soon enough. Affleck is rigid and expressionless, while, to be fair, receiving no help from a weak supporting cast. Story predictable and lame. Nearly worth quitting the genre after watching this catastrophe.

Difficult watching Ben Affleck. He is such a stiff actor. I do not understand his fame. I gave the movie a chance because of Ana but the story was boring and the characters were unlikeable.

So disappointing movie ! i was so bored with the non stop sexual scenes of a quasi porn actress with barely any talent. Where is this De Armas lady coming from? Is it acting to just have some close ups on her crouch and breast or did she play for porn before? The story is long, nuts and only 5 minutes at the end seemed intriguing. A waste of time and for sure not Ben Affleck's best movie nor acting. Could not buy this couple at all. Cant give more ratings than that.

Deep Water This movie starring Ben Affleck and a great supporting cast it's a psychological thriller about a married couple with the wife who was very promiscuous and a husband who was extremely jealous. They got a little girl with this family perfect little family other than the adulterous lifestyle of the young wife alright would not recommend this movie to the younger crowd it is our rated for reason but it is a very good film and I would highly recommend it to the adult crowd. Film was released in 2022 and again I’m giving high praise I’m going to give it 8 out of 10 stars.
