Critics Consensus

Despicable Me 3 should keep fans of the franchise consistently entertained with another round of colorful animation and zany -- albeit somewhat scattershot -- humor.

I have no wish to see any more movies featuring the Minions but I'd make an exception for a crossover project in which they were pitted against the Brood for a fight to the death.

Despicable Me 3's tender moments are often drowned out by everything else its filmmakers want to smash into its 90 or so minutes.

Besides a couple of the franchise's mandatory irritating moments and another loose script, there are worse things to endure watching with your kids. Disposable yet not entirely harmless, it's almost fun. [Full review in Spanish]

There is an air of difference around Despicable Me 3 to all the films in the series but this is a film that is going to be lapped up by those that have grown up watching the franchise.

Even though the story is fairly convoluted, it's worth taking your kids to see. There are laughs abounding.

My favorite one of them all! So wholesome and loved the 80s throwback music selection! Not too scary for the kiddos. Perfect plot and lots of laughs with thr minions.

Despicable Me 3 is not what was played on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at Maya cinemas in Fresno, Ca. Instead they played Despicable Me, not sure why, but that is what happened. Despicable Me 3 is what was advertised to be showing, but that was not the case.
