See more Nicholas L Jan 31 Ever since I was a little boy, sitting in my mother's bed watching the big box TV I saw this movie. I've only watched the opening and a brief glimpse of the LORE before I had to go because my parents got home and I wasn't allowed to watch movies like this. Ever since that day I've been searching for that movie. I am 22 years old now and I finally found it! The memory I held onto of the brief introduction brought me here! It does not disappoint. Yes, there are moments that makes you scratch your head saying "Wait, how?- When?-". The story is on a straight line but is a bit confusing. Since this is almost a mad max spin off, but I can see how old civilization would collapse into primal beings, but it really makes you scratch your head at times. Surely, if they had a big enough budget, they would've fixed the pathing. (Personal note: Why are there still cows around? Since if everyone resorted to eating each other, wouldn't that mean all live stock died off. Also, why are they still eating each other? There are clearly live stock and they somehow still have gasoline. (Which is not possible since 30 years has past. Fuel stabilizers can make gasoline last up to three years if stored in optimal conditions). See more Tomaz B @TheBizii 01/05/2025 What I especially liked in this movie was its opening scenes. I hoped I'd get the chance to watch a good apocalyptic movie, but that quickly turned into a Mad Max style movie. Sure, it was still enjoyable and it is action-packed. There's quite a bit of gore, so if that's not your cuppa as Bri'ish would say, don't watch it. Don't take it too seriously, have some fun with this one. See more Matthew B 10/07/2024 The introduction to this film is the polar opposite of what you'll be forced to sit through for the remainder of this mess. The beginning had me extremely engaged! A deadly virus, the military quarantining hundreds of miles only to desert it... not to mention GREAT looking practical effect gore! Very much reminded me of 28 Days Later only without the zombies. Unfortunately, the movie abandons most of this in favor of some off brand Mad Max experience. Not worth your time, couldn't even sit past the halfway point. Generic as you can get.
