A loving mother of four is granted the legal right for medical use of magic mushrooms. Laurie then embarks on a remarkable journey of personal transformation and healing while exploring lesser known possible cures for cancer, like cannabis oil. This story of courage and resilience calls into question everything we think we know about the human body, mind, and spirit.

A moving and effective documentary about one woman's quest to find peace in her final days and the power of medicinal mushrooms. Seeing her move from agony to acceptance, full of gratitude and hope, was deeply affecting and inspiring. Go to Full Review

Although following some of the practices we’ve come to expect from documentary filmmaking, Chandler and Meyers use sweeping aerial shots and compelling representative visuals to go beyond general convention. Go to Full Review

Dosed isn’t a film about a miraculous cure or about the genius minds that every day fight to find a cure for cancer. This is the story of one woman who decided to face death with a tool that, unfortunately, the world hasn’t widely considered. Go to Full Review

Daniel O @RT55162504 10/03/2024 Dangerous self-promoting bullcorn. Absolutely this is great for some, in some contexts. Trying to encourage people to find underground providers when there is so much manipulation and outright abuse, not least by the self-promotors, is insane. High on their own supply...time to question the "rebels" who are making bank on suffering. See more RONALD O @RT52512269 02/05/2024 A film for ANYONE! And in fact, everyone should watch both the 'DOSED' films... unifying, uplifting, insightful, moving and gratifying. The medical world needs an overhaul, and these people are at the forefront. See more Peter A @RT00718385 08/05/2023 Such an inspirational movie. So great to see movies like this being made documenting the beneficial properties of these medicines and how they can transform our relationships with our bodies, each other and nature. Makes you wonder what cancer research are spending all their money on!!! See more Linda B @RT61649245 04/30/2023 Am happy to write a pos review at RT!! I'm telling everyone I know this doc is a must see, after viewing it this past week!! Dosed is a film that challenges assumptions & encouraged me to take the therapeutic use of magic mushrooms to the next level. I was very emotional throughout … crying for those I've loved & cared for through their end of life, who unlike Laurie & Glenn & their 4 kids did not have the option of such a caring, compassionate, wrap around team. We simply must continue to explore non traditional ways of assisting us deal with trauma, as well as end of life preparation. It's inevitable for all of us, but we are surely not ready in any way. See more Jonah B @RT06296201 04/30/2023 Touching , insightful and fresh - A very important conversation about death and using psychadelics to meet it. See more Sandra D @RT44485339 04/29/2023 A DOSE of sunshine!! Whether you know nothing about the powerful potential of Psychedelics and plant medicines and curious or a veteran psychonaut, you will find something you LOVE in this honest documentary not the least of which is it's heroine Laurie who's both heart wrenching and heart warming healing journey clearly takes you far beyond the confines of a mind revealing ‘trip' but towards what it means to make life worth truly LIVING!! Sure there's slow points, and unclear moments of where the film will take you next which could turn off some people to the film, but this is also exactly what makes this documentary more true to form and grounded vs. fast paced editing illsuited for the beautiful imperfect journey of Laurie, her husband and family, unexpected supporters and facilitators and of course life itself. This documentary exceeds its predecessor Dosed and reflects the true heart journey the filmmakers Tyler & Nick have gone on through both their Dosed documentary films. Don't miss this one. The documentary itself is truly a reflection of the journey of not just Laurie's lifetime but our own. Thank you to the filmmakers for this gem but especially to Laurie and her family for sharing her life, joys, tears, fears and loves with us. See more Read all reviews
