Dragon Lover 05/07/2024 I agree with other reviewers that it's not a movie for the younger ones. I liked it because it had dragons(I love dragons) and it's hard to find good dragon movies. It was paced well and it kept me entertained. See more Barb 05/04/2024 I took my grandson, age 7, and he seemed to like it but started loosing interest with 15 minutes to go. I found the movie very dark, both in storyline and appearance. Would not recommend this movie at all, but I think my grandson thought it was alright. The actors also having a strong English accent for a movie set in Ancient China was jarring and really pulled you out the story. Unsure why this was the choice the film went with it when it has such a significant impact on the story telling. See more Baldwin C Jul 14 OMG. Send a white Spanish company to hire a bunch of British actors to be Chinese and use tropes that are so stereotyped and "Ancient Exotism" to make a movie for kids to to think that this is what China is all about. So stupid! A wanna be Raya using mystical Chi. Cuz all Chinese people have Chi and no one else does. Right. But if you're European, you can also make a movie about it and have Chi too. Ugh! This is the type of movie that tries to capitalize on kids and foreignism but does more damage than good without realizing it. Thank you white people for a show about ancient China and chi power and dragons.
