Debra P Jan 11 What in the actual f#'ck was the point in this hour and a half stupidity. It is only half a damned story. It end with absolutely no explanation for what the whole movie was even about. Don't waste your time on this it will only frustrate you. See more Lariste L Jan 4 Many bad films have a redeeming feature; in this case, elegant, well-composed cinematography. Whoever had the camera and took most the shots did a nice job. The rest sucks. The film is empty, slow paced and is apparently a "dystopian future" story with cowboy outfits, farm hunting, a village leader talking bits of nonsense etc. Although low budget for a feature-ish length film, it's inexplicable why director Juliet Bergh has a medical income, yet acquired this much money from a NZ arts funding body to make a film project that clearly doesn't work as a piece of screen narrative. Naturally pretentious "film producer" Mhairead Connor also appears on this project, who's claim to fame is having worked with Christian Rivers, director of country's biggest movie bomb of all time (Mortal Engines, later a notorious intl bomb). Actors are mostly unknown, shot largely outdoors on location. See more Dan D Feb 12 WTF...this was bad. Bound by a fence on an island and we get no payoff for what was on the other side. This movie was a waste... See more mark d 08/22/2022 It's a bleak, post-apocalyptic movie that's pretty much all mood and not a lot of action. I enjoyed the scenery and the haunting soundtrack. If you're looking for an action flick, give this one a pass. See more 08/03/2022 A dystopian drama in the style of punk, where the desert future is supported by wind turbines, protecting the survivors of ecological collapse. However, the problem itself focuses on the catastrophe that could affect the language. However, like the survivors, try to isolate yourself from this low-budget utopia, which tries in vain, but its silliness and slowness are tiresome, although the depth of the idea with detail and scenery is noted.
