We get plenty of the sanity-shredding impact of relentless reels and snapshots which are in many ways the legacy of mondo cinema, and the film also riffs rather well on the great possibilities afforded by the modern internet...

You sympathise with the main character. It is a great commentary on trends and vulgarity. The executions and torture was too much in real time so it was high on tension.

For a movie that is a think piece on the realism of death and how social media has led to the trend of baiting users with nostalgia/replication… Realism was replaced with movie logic in the end. But maybe that’s precisely the point?
