Marlin (Albert Brooks), a clown fish, is overly cautious with his son, Nemo (Alexander Gould), who has a foreshortened fin. When Nemo swims too close to the surface to prove himself, he is caught by a diver, and horrified Marlin must set out to find him. A blue reef fish named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) -- who has a really short memory -- joins Marlin and complicates the encounters with sharks, jellyfish, and a host of ocean dangers. Meanwhile, Nemo plots his escape from a dentist's fish tank.

Finding Nemo offers as much in terms of thrills, frights, humour and psychological insight as it does in pure technical skill, proving that a movie can be art without being an "art" movie. Go to Full Review

Scotland H @Sdog2016 1 day ago Finding Nemo is GOATed because it perfectly combines adventure, comedy, emotion, and unforgettable characters. From the moment Marlin crosses the ocean searching for Nemo, the movie becomes an incredible journey about love, courage, and family. Marlin starts as an overprotective father who is terrified of losing his son. But when Nemo is captured, he must face the enormous ocean he fears. Along the way, he meets Dory, whose hilarious personality and endless optimism make every scene better. Their friendship becomes the heart of the movie. Meanwhile, Nemo learns that being small does not mean being powerless. Trapped in a fish tank, he finds courage, makes friends, and refuses to give up. Both father and son grow stronger through their separate journeys. The movie is also hilarious, with characters like Crush, Bruce, and the Tank Gang delivering iconic moments. Yet underneath the comedy is a genuinely emotional story about a father willing to cross an entire ocean for his child. See more Robert P @Superbad Sep 15, 2026 Finding Nemo = a 4.5 star Movie!
