L S @LS253 Sep 13, 2026 Fab idea, but so poorly undertaken even at 74 minutes, it's a struggle to get to the end of this dirge. Hammy acting, weak AF script, and nothing remotely interesting or funny about it. Shame. See more Leonard E @RT22414378 Aug 3, 2026 Comedy horror. Its not for everyone, its going to be a hit or miss but i thought it was pretty funny, i liked the humor. I also really like the pacing, its only 1 hour and 10 minutes and it doesnt drag like most horror movies out there. Id say give it a shot, it was fairly entertaining for me See more Travis T @Trillians Jul 27, 2026 Growing up, my father—a film artist—introduced me to the wonderful world of B-movies, so I have a real appreciation for films that embrace their limitations. Hold the Fort does exactly that. At just over an hour long, the movie never overstays its welcome. The pacing stays fast, the jokes land more often than not, and the filmmakers wisely focus their budget where it matters most: the monsters. The creature effects are surprisingly impressive, even if the acting is uneven and very much in B-movie territory. The concept alone is worth the price of admission. An HOA forcing its residents to defend the neighborhood clubhouse from monsters is wonderfully absurd. Honestly, I could picture some HOAs asking owners to sign that agreement, which makes the satire even funnier. The gore is intentionally cheesy, and the movie fully embraces it. Instead of trying to be genuinely terrifying, it leans into the camp, delivering plenty of laughs alongside the bloodshed. Good watch See more King O @RT90546850 Jul 25, 2026 The first few minutes had me hooked. After that, it went downhill fast and kept thinking "why am I watching this". I fast forwarded through some parts it was that bad. Some of the weakest writing and acting I've seen in a long time, probably ever. See more Crusader T @RT12583476 Jul 22, 2026 It is amazing, just awesome fun 1 million out of ten, acting is what you would expect from a movie like this but there is this charm that you don't see anymore See more Jake D. @WhiteBoy Jul 10, 2026 I usually don’t like over the top cheesy satire movies but this was actually really well done. Very funny bits, the writing was great acting was good. It’s short so it moves quickly and You’re not really invested in any of it but it’s still a fun watch. Felt like the actors were in on the joke with us and had fun making the movie. Just the perfect amount of stupid to be hilarious and worth watching. See more Read all reviews
