Big rig ice road driver Mike McCann (Liam Neeson) travels to Nepal to scatter his late brother's ashes on Mt. Everest. While on a packed tour bus traversing the deadly 12,000 ft. terrain of the infamous Road to the Sky, McCann and his mountain guide (Fan Bingbing) encounter a group of ruthless mercenaries and must fight to save not only themselves but the innocent passengers and a local village on the brink of destruction.

For being an ostensible sequel, “Ice Road: Vengeance” features zero ice roads. In fact, writer-director Jonathan Hensleigh’s follow-up barely stands apart from any of the other baker’s dozen punch-em-ups Neeson has led in the last decade.

It’s probably not a good sign when the most interesting moment in an action movie comes when a bunch of bus passengers have to repair their vehicle using parts salvaged from a bunch of wrecks at the bottom of a cliff

It’s an easy watch, feels like a B movie, not a huge budget movie . But over all the action and pace are good. I don’t think it is as bad as people are making out

The sequel no one asked for to the movie not many remember. This feels like an generic Liam neeson action movie that they slapped the name "Ice Road" on for a quick buck because this is a quick and cheaply made snooze fest that everyone is going through the motions to get a check

“Ice Road:Vengeance “This 2025 movie starring Liam Neeson is a real good movie about two brothers and the brotherly love. But then something happens Liam Neeson character brother passes away and asked to have his ashes scattered on the summit of Mount Everest in Kathmandu. And this story is how with the living brother gets to Kathmandu only defined had trouble. So without spoiling the movie I’d like to say that this is a really good one and has a great ending and a great cast.

This was a rough watch. The CGI/SFX often look like a high school filmmaking project. Even a lot of the driving scenes are obvious bad green screens that only feel slightly better than a weekly sitcom from the 00s. The plot is entirely predictable and the dialogue is obviously tailored towards being a "second screen" movie. The plot armor is thicker than a Star Wars movie and the pacing is awkward. It's fine to toss on as background noise, but I would never recommend it as anything more.

Realize what this is - a fun time. It’s not supposed to be a work of art cinema that will change the way a generation looks at the world, or even an aspect of it. This is a classic Liam action film. If you don’t like those movies, cool. If you do, cool. But to over analyze it while letting the point of the film go over your head is just silly. Have a drink and enjoy.
