Andy F. @AF166 6d Instant Karma has a smart, compelling idea at its core, and the main character is genuinely likable, which makes the movie easy to root for. Unfortunately, his girlfriend’s character is not only unlikable, but the acting is so atrocious it repeatedly pulls you out of the film and becomes a major distraction. That flaw makes it hard to fully recommend, even though the story itself works. I’m torn, but as someone who enjoys solid low-budget films and can forgive rough edges, I still found myself enjoying it despite the frustration.
