Its sensibilities were all a bit too adolescent for my tastes (and age), but for those still fixated on brewskies and formication, It Came from the Desert is a monstrously fun ride. Go to Full Review Sarah Cartland Caution Spoilers Dec 15, 2018

The acting is ropy at times, but as B movies go this is a corker: knowing but not overwhelmingly meta, witty, with schlocky horror tropes tripping over each other. All that's missing is a canister of toxic waste and a Kevin Bacon cameo. Go to Full Review Kat Hughes THN Aug 23, 2018

Camp, cheesy and oddly charming, It Came From the Desert is a rare modern b-movie that is an absolute viewing pleasure. Go to Full Review J.R. Southall Starburst Jun 13, 2018

This isn't especially 'good', and by setting its sights no higher than to pastiche the films it's aping (as much Aliens as Them!) it falls short of being in any way meaningful. Go to Full Review John Higgins Starburst Nov 9, 2017

Zander G @RT60640046 May 7, 2024 Ultimate orange kid movie! I loved the part when it came from the dessert! See more Jul 20, 2022 This was straight up horrible just made an account to say this wauw See more Nov 23, 2020 well, it's not fun and very interesting, the script is terrible and full of lines. See more Paul G @RT67423558 Mar 31, 2020 So bad it's good? No it's just bad. I only watched it because I like the original Amiga game it is loosely based on, pretty disappointed to be honest. Bad acting, bad script, effects are okay, but a missed opportunity. The best part? the end credits where they show the original computer game. See more Mar 22, 2020 as with 9/10 horror comedies, the problem here was that there was no comedy, very disappointing See more Feb 11, 2019 OMG I live b rated horror movies this was so cool Especially since it was based on an old video game by the same name. It was so cheesy and campy!!!! I knew I was going to watch a cheesy corny movie and it did not disappoint!!!!!!!!!!! See more Read all reviews
