Definitely felt like a Frankensteined movie. Some scenes were gorgeous and others were pretty obviously additional photography and weird looking.

“Whew, what is there to say about this cut of the film that hasn’t been said?” you may ask? Well, I’ll tell you: I don’t hate this movie. Does that mean it’s good? No. Definitely no. But I saw this movie with my family in 2017, so it has a little bit of nostalgia for me. I liked this movie when it came out. But after watching Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the flaws in this movie really stand out. Like how under developed Cyborg, Flash, and Aquaman are. Or how Whedon’s injection of comedy doesn’t fit the tone of the rest of the trilogy. Or how horrible the color grading and the red hue of the movie is. Or how underdeveloped and boring Steppenwolf is as a villain in this version. They remove one of Flash’s coolest scenes ever from the Snyder Cut and replace it with this stupid Russian family subplot just to give him something to do during the final battle since they cut out what he originally did during the final battle. All these factors combined just prove how mid thiscutofthe film is
