Maeling Dec 19 Wish it was in English language See more t W Nov 15 Intimate, beautiful, and a great movie. See more Stephanie L @StephanieL11 3d My friend & I watched this on Netflix Canada. The language was dubbed to English which was helpful to us. The characters & storyline really kept us captivated...and had us rooting for the characters to have a better life. There were some laughs, and some somewhat shocking moments. It's a film that reminded me that life can be hard sometimes...and everyone is struggling in one way or another. A great look into Taipei...and life there. The actors were incredible.....I especially loved the little girl. I have seen many Chinese movies before so this didn't blow me away...but if you want something different & fun to watch this might be for you. See more Matt 4d A sweet, tender, family-centered movie about intergenerational relationships. Excellent insights into class and gender roles in Taiwan with a behind-the-scenes look at the life of night market vendors. See more Mister S @Sanscahier 5d Incredible acting direction. Camera action at eye level of a child, which engages the viewer. Is this a movie you want to see again? Perhaps no. As opposed to Chunking Express, which adds more dimensions to its characters. Anyhow, Left-Handed Girl offers what a great movie should offer, and Tsou Shih-Ching is surely a name to remember. And should we mention the Sean Baker effect? 4.6 stars See more Elizabeth D @Hatchje Jan 19 I loved this movie. Each of the three main characters were completely engaging to watch as the story unfolded, without sentimentality. See more Read all reviews
