The lead actor delivers a fantastic performance, especially when he shifts from genuine laughter to forced laughter just to survive. The atmosphere and character designs are consistently creepy and effective. **(Spoilers Below)** For most of its runtime, this felt like an 8–9/10 movie. One detail I loved was how characters spoke directly to the camera, making it feel like someone was actually behind it. If so, that's another mystery the film never explains. The ending drops this to a 5–6/10 for me. The movie repeatedly raises questions about who's behind "the show" and how it works, only to leave them unanswered. I understand the grief symbolism, but symbolism doesn't replace explanation. The buildup was fantastic, but the payoff wasn't there, leaving me disconnected from the protagonist by the end.
