David S @Ragstone_Davey Jan 5 This movie is immensely underrated. The general content of multiverses may make it overwhelming or make it seem like nonsense on the surface. However it is not very hard for a lover of science fiction to delve in deep quantum-physically and get a lot of interesting insight and personal take on this fascinating, mysterious and thrilling sci-fi. It is better than a lot of its reviews make it seem. You make answers for yourself and it’s amazing how it plugs in to make sense. ‘Multiverse’ is a puzzle to figure out. Lesson: give interesting things a chance and pay no mind to below average sounding reviews, especially when it is relatively new and has not even been seen by many people. Scientifically, & thus intellectually challenging but that does not make it a dud. Intelligent folk will appreciate it. Anybody who thinks this movie is a dud, must be rather dense. I wonder how many are people not even watching the whole movies writing these bad reviews. That means utterly nothing. See more Vaughan P @RT44332071 Apr 30 The trailer was promising but I suspect that is where the bulk of the efforts (and budget) went in this underwhelming and overacted wet toilet paper of a movie. It's a definite “tell” that the director has run out of ideas when they start to use those weird angled camera shots (popular in the campy Batman tv shows from the 70’s but amateurish in 2025) to try and add some visual friction to some decidedly droll storytelling and sure enough, about 30 minutes in, we see the results of the drunken cameraman titling sideways to try and brighten up one unfortunately acted scene after another. The writing was not completely terrible and the sciencey style words were earcandy-esque enough to make it interesting at times, but just when you thought the movie might make some headway towards the promise of the trailer, awkward acting, coupled with listless directorial decisions, conspired time and time again to offend your sensibilities and give your expectations of a good movie a nasty viewers rash. The plot COULD have been the lipstick on a pretty pig but it was all ultimately just a pimple under makeup that exploded under the weight if it's failings leaving us to wipe away the gooey discharge to see what was underneath and this pimple was not worth the squeeze. A bit late in the movie and handled a tad clumsily but it stimulated the thought processes enough to make it satisfying. As a professional filmmaker myself, I don’t like to be mean, but the acting is high school play level and the dialogue is even worse. It’s just unwatchable.
