Alcoholic and world-weary, U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) lost his passion for his work long ago. Even though lives are potentially at stake during every flight, he sees the assignment as just a desk job. However, his "ordinary day at the office" becomes a high-stakes crisis during a flight to London. Marks receives a series of text messages demanding that he instruct the airline to transfer $150 million into an offshore account, or a passenger will die every 20 minutes.

Critics Consensus

While Liam Neeson is undoubtedly an asset, Non-Stop wastes its cast -- not to mention its solid premise and tense setup -- on a poorly conceived story that hinges on a thoroughly unbelievable final act.

A good puzzle that doesn’t tip its hand. Moore is lovely. Quite thoroughly planned. See more Allan H @RT89558755 Jul 7, 2026 Watching the Downton Abbey actress play a stewardess kept confusing me and made me think of the TV series as well as Liam Neeson running this show and making you think you saw it before in the genre-related universe. Tearful ending well-played also makes me think I watched this once before. See more Gabriel K @GabeKnowMovies Jun 29, 2026 I was surprised by this movie. It was unpredictable at every turn and it grabs you in. Premise may seem silly to some people but it’s entertaining nonetheless. See more Ezra B @RT32538992 Jun 1, 2026 Personally, I loved this movie! It has tons of action and suspense but does have some life lessons and mature themes along the way, this makes it the perfect movie. Being into aeroplanes and an Agatha Christie fan, this movie was especially good for me, kind of like a modern reboot of the Murder on the Orient Express just that bit better, but even for anyone, this movie really grips you and you definitely want to know the ending. A good murder mystery has to include lots of what - ifs and you start to think it's someone but then it's revealed it's someone else, and this for sure included this. And that action sequence at the end was the craziest thing ever, really depicting what an emergency landing and plane crash would be like in real life (except for all the fighting!). I get how some people would not be too keen on this movie, but personally, I can officially confirm that this is my favourite movie (for now!). See more Read all reviews
