Snobbish and wealthy Joanna Stayton is living a life of leisure with her husband, Grant, when she falls off their yacht and suffers amnesia. Grant takes the opportunity to rid himself of the demanding Joanna -- but Dean, a widowed carpenter with four kids who once worked for Joanna, arrives and claims she's his wife. Joanna can't remember her past identity, but has trouble believing that she was ever meant to be a working-class mother of four.

Hawn and Russell make a cute couple, and Overboard has a fair amount of charm. Like a lot of movies these days, it takes this one too long to end, but up until the last 20 minutes or so, it is a moderately entertaining, old-fashioned formula comedy.

This is my all time favorite Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell movie. Its such a good movie and so funny. My favorite part is where after the kids glued Annie's hands to the plates and she serves Dean the pie, the look on his face was so funny like he was so unsure about reaching for it 🤣 like he was expecting to end up wearing it. I wished I had a dollar for every time ive watched this movie, and each time is just as fun

Rich Girl. This is a very funny film with jokes that appeal to adults and children. I don't know if this is a hard feat to accomplish; it's hardly done nowadays. Perhaps funnier than Private Benjamin. I'll have to see that one again to be sure. Meanwhile, watch Overboard.

This is an 80’s classic. While not perfect, what makes this movie SO GOOD is the undeniable chemistry between the male and female leads… Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. I consider a feel good guilty pleasure. Funny and heart warming.
