A single suburban father works at a mall as a security guard to make ends meet. He takes his job very seriously, even though most of his colleagues and customers don't. As the holidays approach, Paul gets his moment to shine when Santa's little helpers shut the mall down and take hostages, including his daughter and girlfriend. Though it takes too much of a die hard in a mall approach and it's just like every other Kevin James Movie, it does benefit from the fact that it is family friendly, and it is appropriate for kids. It isn't going to win any awards, but hey, you wanna waste some time, you could do worse and I enjoyed it, despite its flaws!!!

Another delightful offering from the mastermind, Kevin James - esteemed author of other classics such as "Zoolander" and "Grown ups 2". This film see's him portray his greatest character yet, Paul Blart - a deeply intriguing soul, portrayed perfectly by Kevin. This film offers deep physiological questions, incredible camerawork, and in-depth characters that are acted to perfection. Its just as good as breaking bad. Except - unlike that show - Mall cop is actually funny. Checkmate Vincent.
