Like its central character, Ponyboi is a film that confidently exists in the in-between. It’s as much a coming-of-age story about figuring oneself out as it is a chilling nail-biter about a drug deal that goes wrong...

Better than expected. Lead actors are all excellent, especially River Gallo. Story is thin but characters are strong enough to compensate. Not perfect but well worth watching.
