Yes, I do agree the animation does look like this film was made on a low budget and can be creepy at times, but David Tennant and Jim Broadbent's acting along with the story being about fame not being everything is a really nice touch. Plus, the film was way ahead of its time back in 2014, where relying on AI is not always a good thing and this was before AI became a concern since 2023. This isn’t faithful to the original program at all! The animation looks cursed, the original program had cute animation, but this here, I’m scared. The performances are meh.
