It pulls the curtain on the artifice and shows the unforgivable cost to what Hansen did and how [he was] allowed to do it. This subject is much bigger than [that], though, so the film plays like more of a table-turned "gotcha" moment of its own.

A fine tuned, extremely relevant dissection of the purported good that shows such as To Catch A Predator claim to offer. The doc is extremely self-reflexive about its own goals, which is a welcome change from other true crime texts

It fills one in on what happened to the show To Catch a Predator. A few moments drag a bit too long but overall an opportunity to understand the dynamics of show.

40 minutes in and you can tell that these people are "sympathetic" towards the predators. The director might be a victim , but it does not make any sense that a "victim" is so passionate about helping predators and so angry at Chris.

Director tries to sooth his past trauma of SA by making it chris Hansen's problem for not figuring out for him why child predators do what they do. As if there's an excuse or cure for it, he tries to sympathize with predators to cope with his own issues. Fyi, that DA was found to have a ton of terrible pics on his computer, he offed himself cause he got caught not cause of chris hansen. And if all the predators aired he focused on the one 18 yrs old who they redacted from later episodes 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was honestly very intrigued and excited to watch. Took about 20 mins to realize this was NOT the documentary for me. Id rather die than feel bad for any of these men. If you support child rapists this is the movie for you.
