Edward D @Edward313 14h I've watched every prey movie since the original with Arnold Schwarzenegger and this movie by far is not only original but absolute genius on the part of whoever wrote for this movie The concept of going to this timeline and involving the Indians known for their primitive nature and hunting abilities up against a futuristic predator keeps you on your edge at every turn. I can't wait for the sequel. If I could give it 10 Stars I would. I love all the predator movies, don't get me wrong, 🤔 but this is by far my favorite. 👍 See more Nas L @NasLaf 4d Prey goes back to the basic for the predator series. Its a beautifully done film with strong acting and decent score. There are some special effects issues but overall its s trong entry to the series. Where it goes wrong is the typically feminism political writing that simply isnt reflective of the reality for the setting. Too much mapping of modern feminist values onto a centuries old culture that wouldnt share the need or value to complain about it, rather they would just do it. This poor writing pulls the audience out of the imersion and rolls the eyes. Whining about how unfair it is to be a girl isnt a realistic portrayal of a hunter gatherer culture hundreds of years ago. The female lead was strong and capable and writing them as a typical "I can do it because girl power" character was a disservice to the character overall. Spin on the classic Predator movies, this time happening in the past with a female Native American. Disappointed that no new tricks were used to fight the Predator. Also a lot of unnecessary scenes, movie kept dragging on and could have been a lot shorter. Probably Predator vs. Ninjas and Predator vs. Zulu Warriors or Predator in World War II will be next. Aun así, el ritmo es irregular y varios personajes secundarios pasan sin dejar huella. (Spoiler) La historia de Naru funciona porque su evolución se ve paso a paso, aunque a veces el guion insiste demasiado en que todos la subestiman. Me gustó mucho el diseño del Depredador y sus armas más "primitivas", pero algunas muertes se sienten poco impactantes y el tramo final, aunque entretenido.
