Director Chadd Harbold uses the jazzy technique of telling the story out of order to keep the plot moving. But nothing can resuscitate this nasty pulpy mess. Go to Full Review

An archetypal rehash of a familiar story from yesteryear, L.A Seduction fails to fully reignite audience interest in the near forgotten sub-genre of film. Go to Full Review

Develops as a potentially trashy sexy thriller only to shift gears midway to supply motives to boring villains with gross intentions barreling back to catchup with an indecipherable and poorly-filmed conclusion. Go to Full Review

Raechel Z 05/14/2022 Really exciting take on an old indie horror. Strong performances and spectacular cinematography. Loved the use of color and locations as well. See more SkyRo P @TheMovieSearch 01/06/2025 I recently checked out the thriller "Private Property," which centers around an aspiring actress who is married to a producer. The narrative focuses on her domestic life and her encounters with a new gardener. As the plot progresses, we learn that this gardener harbors a nefarious plan. He deceives those around him, disguising his true intentions while aiming to exploit the young woman in a deeply unsettling manner. Regrettably, I found the film to be quite underwhelming. At a mere 80 minutes, it rushed through the plot, leaving little room for viewers to form connections with the characters or experience any real tension. The story jumped directly into the action, and the protagonist's choices felt unrealistic and hurried. The scene depicting an attempted assault was particularly disconcerting, as it was executed too quickly and lacked the necessary buildup or emotional resonance. Ultimately, "Private Property" came across as a poorly crafted film with a scant narrative. The performances were lackluster and unconvincing, contributing to a frustrating viewing experience that failed to live up to the expectations of a compelling thriller. See more Microwaveable H 11/28/2024 I'm pretty sure this is actually the worst movie I've ever seen in my entire life. The music was horrible, the acting was just BAD, and there was next to no substance to the actual plot. I would give zero stars if I possibly could, because I'm pretty sure this entire remake only exists because some random guy in a basement just wanted an excuse to shoot footage of Ashley Benson in bathing suits. See more Kristi P 08/25/2024 The suspense was there, the acting good, but I thought the plot and ending were silly & the excessive music really ruined it for me. It was too loud & was competing with the dialogue. I wanted to scream, “shut the $&;” up”. See more Read all reviews
