A rare gem with over-the-top, laugh-out-loud moments, sincerity, and feel-good vibes, this clever twist on the sports comedy genre carves a new footpath, restoring faith in humanity with each purposeful step.

For all the expected beats that Claydon and Moniz utilize, the directors still manage to make a film that is surprisingly charming.

Racewalkers weaves a classic redemption story with sharp writing, layered characters, and a general sense of good will that sets it apart from anything else out there at the moment.

With equal parts slapstick and sincerity, Racewalkers molds a handful of sports cliches into a crowd-pleaser about perseverance and redemption that finds emotional depth by not punching down.

The dumb, heartstring-tugging, underdog sports comedy genre seldom gets its due. But there are times – and these are among them - when a movie like Racewalkers is exactly the kind of feel-good sight gag we need.

Racewalkers is an absolute gem of a film. The kind of movie Hollywood used to make. Equal parts funny and heartwarming. If you are feeling down about the state of the world right now then go see Racewalkers.

Honestly just a really fun and funny movie that actually makes you laugh out loud. Exceeded my expectations and then some. As a lover of romcoms, I didn't think I would or could enjoy a movie about racewalking/sports in general. Then I watched it and it definitely surprised me in the best possible way. It's genuinely super funny and of course, not really about racewalking at all... You'll see! Worth seeing in theatres with a big group of friends.
