After being fired from his job, Los Angeles slacker and punk rocker Otto (Emilio Estevez) lands a gig working for an eccentric repossession agent named Bud (Harry Dean Stanton). At first, Otto is reluctant to work as a repo man, but he grows to love the fast-paced job. After learning of a Chevy Malibu that has been given a $20,000 price tag, Otto embarks on a quest to find the car with the beautiful Leila (Olivia Barash), who claims the trunk's contents are otherworldly.

A true cult classic, Repo Man delivers. The cast is great and has fun with the screenplay without ever coming off insincere. The visuals are dated, of course, but they're still fun to watch. If you're a collector, this one deserves a place on your shelf.

Anarchic, absurd, out of this world, and endlessly quotable. Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton make the best comedic duo of 1984, and the rest of the cast have moments of brilliance that make this easily one of the top ten comedies of the ‘80s. Look for hidden jokes upon repeat viewings.
