Deeply uncomfortable but profoundly rewarding. Retrograde is quite a ride. Go to Full Review

'Retrograde' has been commended for its tragic humour and for exploring truth and accountability through a dryly comic lens. It is a very singular and personal look at these themes, and one that will keep you engaged for its entirety. Go to Full Review

Retrograde follows a young woman who lands in the emotional soup when she’s pulled over for careless driving. The unsympathetic lead is exhausting and indefatigable, and worse, reflects us back to ourselves in our worst, quixotic moments. Go to Full Review

A-minus
Adrian Murray’s minimalist film is a darkly funny character study of Molly, a young woman obsessed with overturning what she believes is an unjust traffic ticket, no matter the personal cost. Go to Full Review

As a whole, Retrograde will be sure to have some viewers asking, “That’s all?” but those who dig this kind of humdrum, ordinary situation explored through a creative lens will be rewarded. Go to Full Review

Alain E @AlainE Jan 18 A cute little movie about becoming obsessed with the small stuff like a minor traffic ticket or the planetary position at the time of your birth. By the way, I can reveal that I have the same birthday as Britney Spears and you guessed it, multiple web pictures in my underwear (not!). See more Randy L Jul 25 Life is precious. In your limited time on earth, do not waste once second on this mind numbing high school level movie. Horrible acting, bad story, drags and drones on and on about nothing. Not interesting, not entertaining. Someone's money went into making this. Guessing taxpayers' money, because no one in their right mind would fund it. There is not one redeeming thing about this. Bleh. See more Read all reviews
