Alan @BleakPhilosopher Jan 17 Psycho horror with some black comedy touches. Requires dedication to get through, yet it will be rewarding for some. Completely preposterous in some ways. The experience clings to me like the stench of rotting meat. See more 06/10/2018 Ok, but honestly not that surprising. I found the kids more annoying than menacing See more 05/14/2018 Amazing And Terrifying. See more 04/14/2016 Written by Lucky McKee (May, The Woods, All Cheerleaders Die) as a pseudo follow up to "May", "Roman" is a somewhat sweet and creepy romance story between a killer and his next door neighbor. While the film most likely would have benefited from a larger budget and different casting, Angela Bettis' direction mostly works, especially considering the ultra low-level nature of the film. Some acting and pacing issues will put off a large chunk of viewers, but for those that can look past such things there is an interesting movie to be seen. See more 01/07/2016 Angela Bettis directs her May Director in a reversal of roles, with Lucky McKee playing an awkward loner as she did in the other film, and the results are a lot more average for whatever reason. I mean, maybe we're all a bit more familiar/accustomed to strange guys getting creepily attached to women who want nothing to do with them, but this just felt kinda boring and by the numbers. Rental? See more 11/29/2013 ANYONE WORKING IN THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD WILL LOVE THIS FILM. Main character: Love-Struck; Obsessive-Compulsive; Schizophrenic, Rapist, with Asperger's Syndrome, and a hint of Necrophelia!! How can you go wrong with this? Believe it or not............This film was very well done. The character interaction was genuine. This movie is well worth watching multiple times. See more Read all reviews
