Gwendolyn Shepherd (MARIA EHRICH) is actually a very normal 16-year-old teen. What's annoying is that her family definitely has a tad too many secrets. They all have to do with the time-travel gene that is passed down in the family. Everyone is certain that Gwen's cousin Charlotte (LAURA BERLIN) has the gene, and so everything is all Charlotte, all the time. Until the day Gwen, out of the clear blue sky, suddenly finds herself in London at the end of the 19thcentury. She knows right away that she, and not Charlotte, was born to be a time traveler -- even if she could certainly do without it. Just as she could do without Charlotte's arrogant boyfriend Gideon de Villiers (JANNIS NIEWÖHNER), with whom she now has to forge an alliance in order to clear up the biggest secret of her family history. One thing is clear: she will do everything possible to solve the ancient mysteries. What isn't clear is that one should not fall in love between the times. For that really makes things complicated!

Sehr empfehlenswert See more Aki K @RT63048376 Jun 18, 2025 Not knowing anything about the book or the story in general I wasn't expecting too much. But to my surprise the story was easy to follow (for most of the time) and the plot rather intriguing so that my anticipation went higher with each film. So I can't say that even though it's not perfect, this trilogy is definitely worth a watch ^^ See more An N @RT63611649 Jan 12, 2025 Watched this movie when I was a puberty teenager. Fuxing loved it! It was everything you wanted in a teenage fantasy drama. Suspense, time travelling, romance, thriller and more. A must watch. 100% recommend. See more Nov 9, 2014 bon suspense en attendant la suite See more Feb 14, 2014 It is a fantasy movie made in Germany and not a bad one. Its a adaption of the very funny book from Kerstin Gier and the fun is transfered in the movie mainly because of the good cast most notably Maria Ehrich. See more Read all reviews
