Jessie Z @za2011 4 hrs ago For the most part, this film still holds up and has some of the funniest scenes you’ll see in a movie. But what I really appreciated about the film was the mixture of the plots of “Scream” “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “The Usual Suspects”. Found it to be very clever and moved the film along nicely. See more Huntin P @PaxVobiscum80 Sep 18, 2026 I cried laughing, when I saw this movie. It is so brazenly unoriginal, so eye-wateringly puerile, as to simultaneously demand it be consigned to the trash and embraced with alacrity. It is a paradox, worthless and hilarious. The Scary Movie franchise later fell under the control of those with far greater comedic talent than the Wayans', but this is where the plagiarism began. Plagiarism because this is more than an imitation of Scream (1996) - should I say less than? - it is a shameless rip-off of the source material. Not only Scream, for that matter. It's Scream as reconceived for someone with the intellectual ability of Jake Harper from Two & A Half Men. Throw in obvious references to I Know What You Did Last Summer, and to The Blair Witch Project, and take every opportunity for jokes about bodily functions. Voila! The emancipation of the dipsh*t. See more Jake F @jake222 Sep 16, 2026 It's starts out pretty funny as a parody but then it gets so foul in potty humor that I had to turn it off and wipe all of the Scary Movies from ever seeing it again. Now I have to do a bleach bath for my computer. What were they thinking. See more Bruce F @MoralMaster Sep 7, 2026 I think it still holds up lots of stereotypes and great time period comedy many references and brenda absolutely kills it love to see the Wayne's come together See more Raquel E @raquelea Sep 6, 2026 A horror-parody concept with almost nothing in the execution that worked for me. The humor relies overwhelmingly on gross-out gags, relentless sexual jokes, stereotypes, and shock value, much of which has aged terribly and very little of which I actually found funny. Recognizing some of the horror references was occasionally entertaining, but when a comedy fails almost completely at making me laugh, there isn’t much left to save it.
