If this movie didn't have A list Roster of Actors talent and name wise to save this movie it gets 1 star. If it wasn't for Mike Epps, George Lopez, Mike Warburton, Katt William, and TnA of grown women playing High-schoolers for some odd reason it would of steamed out Act one. The Cholos too stole the show. Those characters they canceled out the trash of Amber Rose, Kevin Hart, and Luenell. See more MariofanAlex445 Jun 16 The film was fine, music was honestly outdated for todays standards but the core lesson about self confidence presented in this comedic way was executed well enough. Felt like a Boondocks episode that was turned into a full movie (minus the social commentary and consistent humor). Also, Anastacia isn't that pretty. I am sorry to break it to you, but every other girl in this movie was hotter. Anyways, give it a watch 2/5 stars. I went into it expecting a school dance parody and got what seemed like a school dance movie mixed with I'm Gonna Git You Sucka humor. A lot of great familiar faces, and everyone pulled their weight. It's no blockbuster, but def worth a watch if you're in the mood for an hour and a half of mindless fun and a happy ending. Unhinged comedy, music, dancing, and a feel good movie. Something not to take too serious, because like said before, it’s a Comedy. Nick Cannon did an amazing job with a star studded cast. It seems like a passion project for the culture. I go back and watch this movie every once in a while to get that early 2010s feel before things were too complicated with comedy and movies.
